Frequently Asked Questions about Our Services in Glens Falls
We want to simplify the process of using a general contracting in Glens Falls by providing you with straightforward responses to some frequently asked questions.
How do we pay you?
At ACW Family Builders, we will create a project plan at our first meeting that details every cost aspect of the project. Payment will be expected at various points during the project, and will be spelled out clearly in the contract to avoid surprises.
What can I expect during the project?
After we discuss your ideas, we will together create a detailed contact and production schedule. At ACW Family Builders, we want to know your goals for the project, and things that might concern you Once our crew begins to work, we keep you updated every step along the way.
Can I still stay in my home during a remodeling project?
Most of the time, you do not need to leave your home while we are remodeling it. We make every effort to make sure that the remodeling process will have a minimal effect on your daily activities. The sections of your house that are under renovation will be temporarily closed off so that dust will not enter the rest of your home. Whenever possible, temporary amenities can be provided. However, there are very few times when this is not possible. Example would be a major renovation to the only bathroom in the house. If this is the case, we will assign your project as a priority so that you only lose access for a limited time.
Where do the products come from that you need for my project?
All project requirements differ, but we strive to use local retailers from Glens Falls as much as possible. With years of experience in the industry, we have relationships with many quality manufacturers and businesses that allow us to pass on the savings to you.
